| EV Site |
We know from email received that people do look at the site and generally make favourable comment. We have had enquiries from families of people who used to live in the village, from those who wish to get in touch with old friends, from people who are considering making a home in the village and those who want to sample the delights of the White Horse. The site has achieved prominent positions almost across the board in the major search engines and we are aware that many of the businesses in our directory are getting business calls generated by the site. We have had some great input from people, but would appreciate more news and notices. The objective is to make this a site people want to visit, and through which we can pass on information about the village to residents and those who might choose to come here to live. The Friends Meeting House
On ITV Sunday Show |
The Friends Meeting House was the venue for an ITV programme entitled "My Favourite Hymns", an unusual event as Hymns do not form a great part of worship for Quakers. The show was not a service but a collection of hymns. | |
